Money, money, money

Besides writing, I love to read. I must confess though: since the birth of my daughter I read way less than I used to! I’d like to blog about what I read and share with others some of the ‘gems’ I’ve found.

Right now I have a couple books on my reading list. One of them is the book of Dave Ramsey: The Total Money Makeover. Honestly, before last week I never heard of this man, even though apparently this book has sold over 5 million (!) copies. 

My husband bought this book so we can read it together. I already flipped through the pages and I must conclude that this is a really practical book and something we can really use right now. After me becoming a stay at home mom and my husband beginning his own business, our financial situation had changed. We never really made a budget, because our income changes every month. This book gives good tools though to budget regardless of income changes. I’m looking forward to read and implement the advise Dave Ramsey gives. Usually I’m not really into financial stuff, but this book offers really great advice and even without fully reading it I know it’s the book for my family right now!
